WALNUT RIDGE – William’s Baptist University received a $12,000 grant from the Bosch Community Fund that will go towards a pilot research program for marine conservation.

The Bosch Company, which operates a plant in Walnut Ridge, supports programs designed to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education and addresses environmental sustainability.

Students participating in the research program will prepare and study in the spring semester before accompanying three faculty members to Titusville, Fla. in May. They will spend one month conducting research projects in marine conservation and participating in community service projects to improve environmental quality in their work area.
