Southwestern Seminary terminates Paige Patterson, removing all benefits
FORT WORTH, Texas – The Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Board of Trustees has terminated former president Paige Patterson as a result of the
information surfacing about the handling of the sexual abuse allegation at Southeastern Seminary where he previously served as president, according
to a statement released by the seminary.
All of the previous benefits granted to Patterson at the board's called meeting May 22 have been revoked, according to the statement.
