FBC, Hope, plans ministry next door to new county facility

HOPE – Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson signed over the deed of the former state-owned migrant center in Hope to Hempstead County May 4.

The county plans to turn the facility into a juvenile rehabilitation center. Daniel Bramlett, pastor of First Baptist Church, Hope, spoke during the event and shared how First Baptist plans to use the former Hope Migrant Mission Center, located steps away from the migrant center, in cooperation with the county's plans.

The Arkansas Baptist State Convention is currently in the process of transferring ownership of the Hope Migrant Mission Center to First Baptist Church, Hope.
