EL DORADO – Jennifer Kennedy Dean, author and executive director of The Praying Life Foundation, will be the keynote speaker at a women’s retreat at First Baptist Church, El Dorado, Friday and Saturday, April 12-13.
The retreat, open to all women across the state, is focused on living connected to the heart of Jesus. Women will have time to fellowship with one another, worship and learn more about living a life “synced” with God, said Camille Daniels, women’s ministry coordinator at First Baptist.
“Our goal for the retreat is that women would learn more about prayer and its role in keeping us in line with God’s will,” said Daniels. “I am personally excited about getting to know other women from around the state who are intent on having their best walks with God so that we can go home and affect others.”
Dean is the Kentucky state director for United States National Prayer Council and a member of America’s National Prayer Committee. Dean is the host of The Praying Life Minute podcast. Her book, “Heart’s Cry,” is the National Day of Prayer’s recommended resource for 2019.
