Williams Baptist College to host screenwriting workshop

WALNUT RIDGE – The Williams Baptist College (WBC) theatre program will host a screenwriting workshop led by Vickie Caspall on Tuesday, April 23, on the WBC campus.

Caspall's screenplay “Splintered” received top honors at the 12th annual Ozark Foothills Film Fest.

Melinda Williams, head of the WBC theatre program, said the workshop will address five key screenwriting components, the most popular movie genres and how to pick the right one for each screenplay and the basic phases and skills needed for writing a screenplay.

The free event will take place in the Rose Room, located upstairs in WBC’s Southerland-Mabee Center.  The workshop begins at 6:30 p.m.

For more information, contact Melinda Williams at (870) 759-4203 or mwilliams@wbcoll.edu.
