Kirk Cameron to host marriage conference April 3 at Immanuel Baptist, Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK – TV and movie star Kirk Cameron is bringing his Love Worth Fighting For: Marriage Event to Immanuel Baptist Church, Little Rock, at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3.

Cameron“In today’s evolving world, some people are often heard saying that marriage is too difficult, or that the sanctity of marriage has been destroyed. Don’t tell that to television and movie star Kirk Cameron…,” reads a press release about the event.

“Marriage is the foundation upon which you build a family, and if families fall apart, then our churches, our communities and ultimately our whole nation crumbles,” said Cameron, adding “We’re excited to share this event with the people of Little Rock and know that it will bring both hope and healing.”

For the last four years, Cameron, and musical guest Warren Barfield, have used the marriage event to spread “their passion and faith in the power of marriage at churches and complexes throughout the country by sharing their personal experiences and using the tools of music and humor to help couples who are either married or preparing to be,” the release reads.

More than 200,000 people have attended The Love Worth Fighting For tour, which is sponsored by Feed Your Faith, since its inception five years ago. In addition to the event in Arkansas, the 2014 tour will be making more than 30 stops across the United States. Other states to host events include Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, California, Ohio, Missouri, Indiana, Florida and Alabama.
